For the last four years, CJLO has put on an event known as "Metal March" where we highlight various loud music genres and the bands that play them. This year we thought it might be fun to get someone else to share some bands that they think deserve some recognition, so we reached out to our friends down in Amish country, specifically WIXQ 91.7FM The Ville, who broadcast out of Millersville University in Pennsylvania. We asked them to collect tracks from some of their favorite artists in the area (tracks 1 through 6), and combined them with tracks from some of our favorite heavy bands from Montreal (tracks 7 through 12). The result is this music exchange, one glorious mix of great bands, a final surprise release to celebrate the end of Metal March 2019.

Big thanks to all of the bands that gave us a track to feature, and to you for giving this compilation a listen. Hopefully you'll find your new favorite band from among those we've picked out.
